A surprising twist!

Bruce kept out of sight, he didn't want to return to the supermarket, Suzy was there with Freddy. Suzy had seen, how devastated Freddy was and the pain she saw in his eyes, cut her to pieces. She had professed her undying love for him and promised to stay with him forever. A surprising twist because she had dropped Bruce like a hot potatoe!

Not the only one

Suzy snuggled up to Bruce, he was big and strong. Freddy's feelings would be hurt but he had been very irritating lately, no fun and frankly she found him .........boring! Bruce said nice things and made her laugh. The odd bag of lollies cemented the relationship. "Oh well" she thought "I'm not the only shopping trolley in the supermarket."

Hot Potatoe!

Freddy kept out of sight, he didn't want to return to the supermarket, Suzy was there with Bruce. He didn't want any shopping trolley, he wanted Suzy! He pondered on the thought that Bruce would drop her like a hot potato (he had a reputation), she would crawl back to him, begging for forgiveness and professing undying love. He would be real cool and reply "I will think about it."

Renegades

Rumour has it, that renegade shopping trolleys, are banding together, to form an evil plot, to overthrow supermarkets !!!!

Eye to eye

Usually Suzy and Freddy were friends, but today they were not seeing eye to eye. Probably she thought he is feeling nervous, sitting out here with the hard rubbish but still, that's no reason for him to take it out on her.

Things looking up

An unexpected courtesy, usually Suzy was made to hang on until they were returned to the supermarket, but this toilet delivered, what next! Things were looking up, she couldn't wait to tell the others about this, but she would bet her last packet of food, that they wouldn't believe her.

Nabbed!

Suzy was well and truly in a pickle now, she had been warned about this before. Shop lifting, an occupational hazard for shopping trolleys and not always their fault. She hugged close to the stobie pole, hoping to be overlooked but the cop car drove up slowly and she knew she would have a lot of explaining to do.

Is this it?

Suzy sobbed and cried and sobbed again and cried. "Was this it, filled with rubbish, rusting away, never to rest peacefully in a supermarket bay after a fulfilling day of packets of food, soap, meat trays, an occasional bag of lollies. Even a rubbish bin was better off, they were made of plastic." She cried so much that it made her rust even more and then she stopped. "This can't be the end, let's think of something." She braced her rusting joins and set her mind on what to do?

Fitting In

Suzy didn't always fit in with other shopping trolleys. It wasn't her fault, some untidy and insensitive shoppers, emptied her out and left her anywhere.
Often a nasty girl or boy would kick her as they passed, just to be nasty!
Secretly she toyed with the idea that she would freeze a wheel or make an annoying click when they pushed her, that way they would leave her alone and she could stay safe and secure, always in the supermarket
